A few years before deciding to join Senior Care Authority, David began to see the challenges that families faced when he saw the changing needs of his parents. He witnessed first-hand the difficult tasks his stepmother had when seeking dementia care for his Father. David also helped his Mother with the many questions she had while transitioning her lifestyle to Independent Living.
David has been a resident of northern New Jersey for almost 30 years. He did grow up in the central part of the state and graduated from Rutgers University, making him the consummate “Jersey guy”. And living so close to the New York border, he is very familiar with Orange and Rockland Counties.
David’s career since graduating college has been in wholesale footwear and he has worked in sales for some very well-known brands. He rose through the industry because of his work ethic and constant desire to achieve customer satisfaction. David’s goal is to combine his customer service skills and attention to detail with the empathy and warmth a family deserves when discussing the needs of their aging loved ones.
SENIOR CARE AUTHORITY COMPANY HISTORY
Senior Care Authority® was founded in 2009 by Frank and Michele Samson of Sonoma, California. They opened a local placement agency and learned everything there was to know about finding the right care situation for an older adult needing help with activities of daily living. They came to the Senior Care space with successful business development skills in their past as well as personal family experience finding care solutions. The business took off, primarily due to their diligence, compassion, and commitment to helping families.
In 2014, the model was franchised and Senior Care Authority® is now a national company with offices throughout the US and Canada. As part of their expansion, they partnered with an eldercare consulting practice who brought another set of senior care services and skills to the company, a great differentiator for Senior Care Authority.
